May 17, 2023Following Saturday's NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race at Monadnock Speedway, the No. 7 Tommy Baldwin Racing modified driven by Doug Coby was issued a penalty as a result of post-race inspection.
The rules infraction is as follows:
Penalty Level: P3
20D — 12.1 Coil Springs A.6. After the vehicle has cleared pre-qualifying or Pre-race technical inspection, one (1) coil spring rubber insert, not to exceed one (1) full coil of the front coil spring, acceptable to NASCAR Officials, will be permitted.
The team was issued a $1,500 fine and was suspended from the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour until the fine is paid. The team is also under NASCAR probation until December 31, 2023.
